Delay is great!

Being delayed is not totally great, but it has some advantages. We have for instance been able to adjust the strategy a bit, to fit into what more experienced people are telling us to do: start with one region and one type of Fooder, and then scale up. But to you dear blog readers, we think you are with us that the potenial is enormous when you think about ALL target groups and ALL regions… 😉

Therefore, we have concluded that we will start with Stockholm and the Mälardalen surroundings, and we will be focusing on farmers (who could be selling their crops on Farmers’ Market, but now gets a time saving alternative) and people with too much food in their home (home cooks, gardens filled with fruit and berries, home bakers etc.).

Let us start with the example of a Farmer. He or she puts a lot of time in just preparing everything to see the crop. If he or she also has to use their whole Saturday to go into the town and stand on the market, and just sell some of it after six hours there, it is not time efficient. With Fooever, the food can be preordered and paid for, and just delivered during one or two peak hours. Or the customer (Foodie) might come to the Farmer and pick it up from there, if the market is not during a convenient time for the Foodie.

The Fooder at home, with more Food than he or she can eat, has a similiar situation. Now there is a market place online (for the first time ever, from what our research shows) where these goodies can be really appreciated and the Fooders gets paid for their hobbies!

We made another Youtube film about this:
